In all of my other blogs I have done countries in Europe and now I am going to do one of Asia. I have never been to Japan but, my friend went and she sent me some photos from there.
This is a photo of a very fancy dessert.
Now here are some other photos from my friends trip to Japan.
Above this is a photo of a market place.
This is a photo of a golden ice cream cone.
This is a photo of Tokyo I believe with all of it’s beautiful lights
This is another photo of a Gundam anime robot statue.
Now this is the end of the photos for now. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you I hope you enjoyed this blog even though there isn’t a lot of factual info on it.
When I got off the chunnel in London, I was very tired. I went to sleep on the two hour car ride to Sutton, Coldfield. Then, I woke up just as we pulled up to our hotel. I got to stay in an old castle with a moat. The castle was called New Hall Manor. Everything was so beautiful.

These are mushy peas
But first, I visited my cousins for the very first time, so we drove over to their house. My dad was a little crazy driving while on the opposite side of the road, but we made it there in one piece! For dinner, I had “fish n’ chips”, which is fried fish and french fries (they call potato chips “crisps” and french fries “chips”), with a side of mushy peas, (they are like mashed potatoes, but with peas instead – it’s actually very good). After dinner, I had sweets (candy) for dessert.
This is Warwick Castle
Sadly, I had to leave too soon, but I would visit another time. The following day, we drove back to London. On our way back, we stopped at Warwick Castle, which was built by William the Conqueror in 1068. It was beautiful and I got to see the chambers. There were even stocks where traitors or “criminals” would be placed for punishement. I also saw torture chambers where people would get tortured if they did something really bad. As I walked up the staircase to the tower, I saw where the knights would stand to protect the castle from invaders. (If you look at the photo, you can see little crosses where knights would shoot their arrows to protect the castle.)

Then, we finished our drive to London and got to stay in a “flat” (apartment) for a few days. One day, I visited Buckingham Palace, where Queen Elizabeth lives. There were rooms where there were just two chairs and a piano. The one thing that amazed me was that I got to see the throne room. Then I came upon a room where King George III would have his children hunt animals for practice. I was not permitted to take photos. Then a little farther away, was the Tower of London. Here is where the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom are held. Unfortunatley, I have to rely on my memory to be able to see them, because visitors are not allowed to take photos in that room. Along with the Jewels, there are gold and silver plates, and utensils there as well.
This is Harrods Department Store (All of the green awnings are Bart of Harrods).
After that, I took a double decker bus to Harrod’s, which is a famous department store in London. I thought it would be the size of Macy’s, but I was wrong. It’s like three shopping malls all put together into one department store! I ate lunch in one of their Vietnamese restaurants. Harrod’s has twenty one restaurants. While being there, I also purchased two teddy bears, which is their mascot. There are different teddy bears for each of their many departments. They have teddy bears with outfits – such as a royal guardsman, a piper bear wearing a kilt, a policemen, and so on and so fourth.
The next day was my final day in London. I went to Big Ben and the London Eye, which is very beautiful in so many different ways. I hope that someday you will get to see what I saw.
What do you think about when someone mentions Paris? Many would say the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. But, there are many other places to visit and sights to see. Some other spots are The Palace of Versailles, the Arc de Triumph, Musée de l’Armée (a.k.a. The Army Mueseum) and Norte Dame. These are some beautiful sights to see in Paris.
The Arc de Triumph looks empty because there was a famous bike race called the Tour de France passing through and all of the streets were blocked. I got a photo clear of any people. Normally, there’s a ton of traffic and people everywhere!
This is the Arc de Triumph
Now, if you choose to go to Notre Dame, I highly recomend to do at least one other sight that day, like a boat ride on the Seine River. Notre Dame is a beautiful cathedral off of the Seine River. The Seine River boat ride is a bit expensive, but it’s a great way to see a lot of Paris and not have to walk seven or eight miles. A different sight to see that day might also be a walk on the Champs-Élysées where The Arch de Triumph is located. The Champs-Élysées is a shopping and dining district.

The Palace of Versailles is about an hour away from Paris. It has amazing gardens and beautiful artwork on the inside of the palace. There is a manmade waterfall, just beyond the garden. As a travel tip – the trip is tiring and I recomend good walking shoes, as there’s a lot of walking long distances. Also, don’t wear hot clothes, because there isn’t any air conditioning inside the palace. That will probably be the only tour for the day, because its a few hours to get there and back.

The Louvre is a famous museum that almost everyone has heard of. The mueseum is many rooms of famous art by Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo , Eugène Delacroix, Raphael, and many more. When I got to the Louvre, I was astounded at how many pieces of famous artwork I had seen before in books and television were really here, right before my eyes!
The museum is honestly so much bigger than I thought it would be. The Louvre is such a large mueseum, that it will take a couple of days to see everything! Just think about how much time and effort these artists had to go through, to make these beautiful paintings and sculptures.

On a different day, I recommend seeing the Eiffel Tower and going inside of it. On the second level, the view is practically all of Paris. There is a park right in front of the Eiffel Tower. Tourists can have a picnic there or just take a nice walk.
This of course is the Eiffel TowerView from second story of the Eiffel Tower
I hope someday others can have the privilege to experience these amazing sights. My wish is that you learned something new from my blog.
